Get the Picture was a game show on Nickelodeon in the 1980s and 1990s. It was hosted by Mike O'Malley, and was O'Malley's starting point with Nick.
The main round consisted of trivia questions, and various puzzles. Correct responses would either reveal squares or allow the contestants to choose lines around each square (four lines revealing a square. After awhile, the contestants would guess what the picture was.
Occasionally, a "power surge" would be encountered, resulting in a separate challenge, either physical or mental. Afterward, the square for the power surge would be revealed.
The final round was a memory puzzle where the contestants chose numbers on a large keypad that they believed coordinated with the image relating to the clue.
- Originally, money was awarded to each team of contestants. In one episode, a team earned so much money that the show almost declared bankruptcy. For the second season, points were awarded instead of money as a result.
